Didnt see the game, but sounds like a huge 2 points early on in the season.

honestly they gave it away just as much as we stole it. there were so many missed opportunities when our D gaffed.. we were lucky to get one point, but 2?! we need to bring our A game because that wont happen again for another season

Bishop came up huge. If he doesn't play like he did, the game's over before the first period is done.

I bet the fans are not upset they traded conacher for bishop after tonight. I guess mr Lindback will have a seat for the next game.

definitely agree with this. he's looking like our #1 early for at least the foreseeable future. what happened in the first?? the only real positive from this game (besides the 2 points) is that our guys are really bringing the physical play. Labrie with 8 hits sad to see our D and 4th line outshooting the first 3 lines though...
holy crap we need to stay out of the box.. Malone is invisible out there unless he's getting 2. i like that hedman is stepping up more but his play hasnt been outstanding thus far. good to have Salo back

I thought Gudas played a solid game. He just goes about his business. He got caught out of position a few times when he went after big hits, but I was still impressed with his ability to calm things down.

Chicago was a good team to play though, they are pretty much the epitome of the kind of play we are trying to emulate. tonight was not a good example though.. after the first 2 periods i was thinking it was going to be a long season.

Indeed. We want to be the kind of team that dominates possession, generates offense at will, and shuts down opposing teams defensively.

Amazing comeback. Thought it was over at 2 - 0.

Rollie the Goalie stole quite a few games his first Lightning season and in the playoffs.

He really did stand on his head a couple times. Hawks probably should have scored six tonight. I think he'll be the clear cut #1 after the Olympics, maybe sooner.

The first period was far and away the worst period of live NHL hockey I have ever seen. By both teams.

And Duncan Keith needs to stop shooting the puck right now. Please.

The first was just horrid. Embarrassingly so. You're absolutely right.
